Activation Key

Hello,

I was in Senegal for 6 months soon after I purchased DavinciResolve 16 Studio.

On my way back I left the box which has my activation key, but brought my dongle with me. Tonight in the middle of my project, it stopped responding, asking me for my activation key, which I do not have.

What should I do? Please help! I am close to a deadline!

So your dongle has stopped working? That's unusual. I'd suggest getting in touch with BMD directly who may be able to arrange a replacement.

CentOS 7.3
Asus Z87, Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz, 24 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (450.66, supports CUDA 11.0). Old system but runs Resolve remarkably well!

Try a different USB port.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The replacement if needed will cost you $299 whether is for a Dongle or Activation Key. Poor way to run a company.
