Fairlight issue in DR 17.1

PostWed Apr 14, 2021 11:33 am

Hi

Does anybody know how to solve the problem that arises after finishing the audio mix in the fairlight page and then having to make another edit on the edit page which lengthens or shortens the edit.

It seems that any automation done on the Fairlight page is locked to the timeline, not to the clip which means you have to redo the entire audio mix to resync the automation in the Fairlight page.

Ensure that "Automation Follows Edit" is enabled either in the Toolbar (icon next to Linked Selection) or via:
Fairlight menu > Automation > Follows Edit
