A "plugin" makes it sound like an OpenFX plugin which can have great performance using the GPU. This however, is a Fusion macro. Complete with a YouTube thumbnail of a surprised face because apparently that's how things work now.

While it can certainly help beginners, in the long run you'll likely not want to be locked in to a macro like this as it limits your options. Instead you can just use the Transform tool in the Fusion page (that's what the macro does but it also exposes its GUI to the Edit page inspector).

Yes but its makes animation easier and faster and hopefully BMD can make a better gpu accelerated version.

I want to applaud the work of the maker of this fusion effect. This is exactly the kind of thing that will greatly help grow the Davinci Resolve market share compared to Premiere. I paid.

Davinci Resolve is also a tool used by amateur video creators for all manner of things. I'm a novice GoPro user myself.

While I prefer to experiment and use my own creativity in animation, I also see tools such as these help others get the desired effect without too much work.

Kudos to MrAlexTech for its creation and his channel.
