Can Keyframe behavior be changed?

PostSun Apr 18, 2021 11:03 am

I would like to use keyframes to change and hold it's value without interpolation between keyframes.

Each keyframe would hold settings constantly until the next keyframe change then those new settings would remain constant until the next change.

Is there a setting to allow this behavior?

Thank you.

Linear Interpolation does this.

But...it takes two keyframes. One at the start and one at the end. Then two more for the next value. Etc.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Yeah, that seems like two unnecessary steps/keyframes. We should be able to set a key frame as “hold” and it stays that way until the next key frame. That should be pretty simple and necessary functionality. I used that all the time in previous projects (in Adobe). Adobe has this functionality nailed in all their products. Perhaps it will be added at some point in DR. We can only hope.
