after crash project files corrupted

PostMon Apr 19, 2021 10:45 pm

dear community,

i could use a magician.

unfortunately 2 harddrives died, recovered most of my data, but all my project files are corrupt.
if i put them in the proper location in my new install resolve can´t open them.

if i open the project.db file in text edit it is all a garbled mess not looking like working project files at all.

like so:

is there anything i could try?

thanks in advance!

You didn't create backups?

i accidentally deleted the drive that had the backups when reinstalling my system. i thought i was beeing smart by not reinstalling on the failed drive. now i have 2 drives with the same corrupded database.

Oooof!

I'm thinking you'll be starting fresh.

As sort of a 20/20 Hindsight idea, online backups are useful safety measures here.

Good luck. ;)
