Color page "Refreshing stills...23%" ... crash

Davinci 17.1.1 studio on Mac, I have a problem like this I open a project, edit page ok, cut page ok, when I open the color page it crashes with the following message "Refreshing stills ... 23 % "the problem is only on this project, how can I fix it? Thank you

I'm having this same issue, and I don't know what "stills drive" means.

I was working on my desktop, then moved everything to an external HD for remote laptop work, now I'm back to the desktop. i didn't have an issue with it yesterday now all of the sudden I do.

Both drives are turned on and if there's stills they're not deleted so how can I fix this?

So I found a workaround but I want to know if this is a bug or something I'm doing?

Basically I copied the project, opened it and the gallery still was there and it hung, so I restarted it and now it works.
