Upgrade to Studio - Invalid version format

Hi,

I just decided it was time to upgrade to Studio. I was running the latest free version 17.1.1

I'm running a Windows 10 machine.

I purchased Studio (activation version version). When I downloaded the studio version and tried to install it over the free version the installer said Resolve is already installed and I couldn't tick the box to install it. I double checked I had downloaded the Studio installer. The file says Studio.

So I decided to uninstall resolve and do a clean install. Long install I uninstalled resolve, Fairlight etc, rebooted the machine and tried to run the studio installer. All I get is an error....Invalid version format: '1.5.0.0

Running as admin yields the same result. What can I do?

I installed under my usual login account that has admin rights (I believe). I also tried install as administrator.

Per Jim's suggestion above, I had a look and I do have an local Windows admin user account. I tried to install under that account and got the same result...
