Fusion SVG color space with Resolve Color Management

PostTue Apr 20, 2021 5:58 pm

We recently switched to using Resolve Color Management for scene referred color and it's been great so far.

One issue I just discovered was a problem with importing SVGs. Unlike bringing in outside assets that you can tell Resolve the input color space for, using the SVG import into Fusion does not give you this option.

So far the only work around seems to be going into the imported group node tree and manually changing the color space of all the background nodes (which can be very time consuming for more complex SVGs).

Is there something obvious I'm missing or is this what I have to do every time?

Has no one else encountered this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

I never use SVG's. Maybe try asking in the Fusion forum as well? Might find more Fusion experts there.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
