My Background Picture is cropped the same way my footage is

PostFri Apr 23, 2021 1:57 pm

So i want to cut a video. I recorded myself with greenscreen and made the background transparent via the color tab. But since i dont want myself in the middle of the video i moved the footage to the right (as on the screenshot). But now the background i want is cropped like my video footage. I cant make it so that the background picture fulfils the whole video and not only the background of my raw video footage. I hope the screenshot helps in understanding my problem. I tried different things but i dont really know what to google... Any help is really appreciated!

You realize you've change the Position of your background image. Was that intentional?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

What do you mean? I changed the size and moved it a little bit to the left. But the Black Bar stays above when my greenscreen footage is the first layer.

You shouldn't have moved your background footage, you should have selected your greenscreen footage on the top track and used the Transform controls to move it and resize it as you wanted. Also, make sure your nodes are connected like mine on the Color Page.
