Backup Postgresql Database

Hi everyone

I'm trying to setup a postgresql database with Resolve.
Everything is good but I want a secure backup of the DB.
My server is on a Mac Mini and I save my DB every night with a pg_dump command.

Can I run the pg_dump command multiple time a day, like every 30 minutes, to assure not to loose top much data ?

I there a better way ?

Yes, use Point In Time Recovery (PITR) and/or log streaming to a second PostgreSQL node.

I tried PITR with PgBarmen but I just don't know how to configure it with my BDD on Osx :/
All the help I've seen is for BDD on Linux and serveur backup also on Linux
