How do I get my lut folder to show up, again, in Resolve?

Let me explain.

I tried to move my lut folder to a drive with more space. But you cannot repoint the folder within Resolve.

So, I moved all the luts back to the one that Resolve shows. I closed and reopened the program. I chose the button to "refresh" the folder, and it still only shows a few that I put in the folder before I moved the original ones back.

Other than reinstalling Resolve, thoughts?

I haven't tried this (don't use LUTs myself), but...try just adding the new folder in the new location.

Does not compute lol

The problem is that if I choose "open lut folder" , Resolve has a predetermined destination. What I tried to do was move all the luts, and folders, from there.

Then I remembered that I can't "repoint" Resolve to the new location. So I moved everything back. It doesnt matter. Resolve still doesn't see the luts.

If you're using Resolve 17, check out page 177 of the "New Features Guide," in the section titled "Support for Custom LUT Paths." Lots of info on how to use and organize LUTs in this section of the manual.

Thanks Marc. As someone who "lives" in the manual, I am a little embarrassed I missed that. Ah well. Life goes on.

I also determined why some luts showed up and others didn't. I somehow copied the shaperluts back into the folder, and not the .cube files.

Anyway, thanks again.
