Fusion colors (HLG interpretation)

Hi,
I have an issue with color interpretation when working with Fusion clip or compound clip in Fusion tab.

Basic settings for the project:
Color science: DaCinci YRGB CM
Resolve color management preset: DaVinci Wide Gamut
HDT10+ enabled
Data levels full.
Source video: ProRes 422 1080p with Bt.2020 HLG

So, when I am in editing tab I see good looking image, HLG interpreted well: see attachment

but when i go to Fusion tab - everything is become bad even if I use Color Space Transform.

Please, help me with simple magic pill to work with the workflow

This is, as far as I know, a known issue with Fusion, it doesn't properly work with Resolve Color Management. There are some threads about this if you search.

Do you need to see accurate colors in Fusion? Are the effects color specific in some way?

Thank you.

I'd like to make some effects(with the standart interpretation of HLG) and then some CC to match all my shots in timeline.

It certainly helps to see stuff even if you don’t strictly need it (you don’t need to see the image in edit page properly either but it certainly helps). Current Fusion related color management is a godawful mess.

I've no quarrel with making improvements.

But until then, I'm wondering if this issue actually prevents work from being done. In my case it usually doesn't. But I don't do any color based effects in Fusion.

Personally, when trying to blend composited footage into something else in Fusion, it's a big issue to not see the actual result for me and thus I have to use workarounds.

Got it.

Take a look at these. Maybe they'll help.

My workaround is to manually transform from Linear/DWG to sRGB for viewing on my monitor using a Color Space Transform and disable the view LUT. It works pretty well but it would of course be better if it just worked automatically as it does with non-managed workflows. If I recall correctly, it also works properly if you use RCM with Rec.709 but I'm not sure. DWG is problematic, though.
