Hi!

I need to extract the first 8 letters of the following Sony Venice clipname to fill the reel column.

What would be the correct string?

example: T001C001_2104231Y
to extract: T001C001

Use the pathname option in Project settings. There is a test function there to try the different options that are detailed in the User Manual.
