Fix Incorrect Sample Rate of Video to Align with other Clips

PostThu Apr 29, 2021 1:18 pm

Hi Everyone,

So I'm a newbie to Davinci Resolve so sorry if this is a simple question.

I have 2 Video clips and an audio clips of a wedding I filmed from a family member. One clip was filmed video my Pixel 5 at 60fps / 48khz, the audio was sampled at 48khz, and the last recording was done via a Go-Pro knockoff camera connected as a webcam and live broadcasted to YouTube 30fps / 44.1 khz.

Putting the first two on the DaVinci timeline is simple, toss them in and use the waveform sync and they are lined up perfectly. The YouTube video is a different story though...

Since the waveform sync does not work I align a clap in the videos at the beginning but by the time I get to the end it's not even close. It's off by maybe 14 second after 15ish minutes? My guess is that the webcam was sampling at 29fps and YouTube stored it as 30fps. So, How do I go about getting things to line up correctly?
