From where does Resolve pull the "Date Recorded" Metadata?

In the Edit page, you can use Workspace --> Data Burn-In to overlay Data to your timeline or clips. One of the variables you can use is %DateRecorded. This shows empty for me, although my Clips, when I look with MediaInfo have a Tag called Recorded Date which includes the Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute and Second information.
I wonder where Resolve pulls his %DateRecorded value. At least it is not from there
