Showing audio output channels instead of input

I'm trying to record a Voice Over. I'm using Free Version 17.1 Windows.
Instead of appearing my mic with only 1 channel for the audio track, it's picking up 8 of the audio channels. I'm using an RGB Wireless Void Elite. Any suggestions?

First make sure the Fairlight patch input/output page is showing 'audio inputs' in the top left menu, if not click and change it to that. If that is already showing them -

The audio driver for your mic might be a multi channel one..? Some of the headphone/mic combo ones can be a little confusing.
Right click on the speaker in the icon, go into sound settings and click on the choose your input device drop down menu. There may be a stereo version of your mic as another deivce option.
If not it may only be multi channel, you could try input 1.
Your pic didn't load btw.
