Small chance this would happen though since they don't want Resolve to become project file centric anyway. Some might love it and I do believe that it has very good implementations for dedicated grading suites but I hate the database system for modern use and Resolve is definitely not grading exclusive anymore.
We are in a facility with literally hundreds of project and literally thousands of LUTs, you might use a lut form another project for whatever reason and when you pass the project to some other facility is difficult to:
Find the luts you used
Collect them
Rebuild teh path.
Usually we do a LUT folder per project like ../LUT/Shows/redNotice/00_master_luts and move those there so you can archive/pass the folder to someone else, but if you forget for whatever reason, you get the dreadful “missing lut” with no indication of which one of the 2500 clips and thousands of nodes it is.
