PostWed May 05, 2021 3:51 pm

When can we expect Sony's S-cinetone input color space option to be available in Color?

Thanks.

We don't normally get to know what or when new features will arrive until they actually arrive, or just slightly before.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

As best I understand it, Cinetone is a "straight out of the camera" format, unlike slog3. More likely you'd use bypass in this case, rather than another input transform.

I think the same. I don't think S-Cinetone needs any input transform.

S-Cinetone is a baked in color from the camera. As others have said there is no need to do a transform to it.
