Create a pattern

PostThu May 06, 2021 1:31 am

How do you create a pattern like this in Davinci Resolve 16?

I'd like to do it specifically in Davinci Resolve rather than Photoshop so that I can customize the pattern with parameters.

Thanks.

I don't think it's possible.

Using a DCTL if on Resolve side, or downscaling and then upscaling noise generator with impulse/nearest filter. With downscale/upscale you must break transform concatenation by inserting some breaking node between, brightnesscontrast should do it I think. DCTL way needs a pseudorandom number generator function and some image space coordinate clamping. Use coords as seed for generator.
I do stuff.

Thanks! This gave me an idea.
