Resolve for the M1 iPad Pro

PostFri May 07, 2021 4:27 pm

Final Cut Pro X (Final Cut Go?) rumours for the M1 iPad Pros (with the 1TB/2TB versions having 16GB of RAM) have been circulating to be introduced at WWDC 2021 this June.

Technically, any XCode app written for the M1 Mac can be ported easily to the iPad using Apple’s SwiftUI to develop the appropriate user interface and experience between the iPad Pro and Mac relatively painless.

Since DaVinci Resolve is written using XCode, one wonders if they will sneak an iPad version in this year’s Developer’s Conference.

I don't think so, but let's wait and see.
Personally, I'm much more interested in the next gen of the MBP and stronger M1 silicon. M1 is not really up to it, may it be in an iPad or a Mac.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
