Can't insert 2 sets of clips from 2 cameras by timecode

Hi. I have about 20 clips from each of 2 cameras. Both have timecode based on the camera internal clocks. Clocks were perfectly synched during the shoot. I've tried multicam in the cut page, edit page and now "Insert clips into timeline using timecode."

Clips all have cameras numbered 1 or 2 as per manual. Using Cut and Edit approaches, the clips never align correctly even though the timecode is correct per frame.

In the Edit page "Insert clips..." approach, I cannot see how to drop camera 1 clips into Video 1 track (which works) AND then camera 2 clips into Video 2 track. Camera 2 clips just overwrite Camera 1 clips in Video 1 track. Disabling track 1 did not work.

Change the Track Destination. (Red outline of Track Number.)

So... breakthrough  . Camera clocks are inaccurate  . It's 2021 and we're still off by 15 seconds per month. Well in my case, 11 seconds in less than 12 hours.

Still inaccurate clock timecode works... Importing all clips (3 cameras) by their timecode puts them in the correct relative space. Drag all clips at once - per camera - to the single loud 2-peak dog clicker ($5.26) spike, in whichever clips has it and all are instantly aligned.

Just be sure to click (one time is enough) when all cameras are running.

After the steep learning curve (I'm a novice), this process seems so much easier than using a tentacle.

StarMark Clicker Dog - super loud and fun to use.
