Entering Activation key on new device if the old PC crashes

I know two computers can be activated on one key. However, my question is if I forget to deactivate one of the computers and activate in a third computer, will the older activation gets automatically deactivated?
For example, if one of my two computers is crashed and I need to boot it and reinstall Davinci Resolve, will the license key work on the reinstalled PC? because in that scenario I didn't deactivate my key.
