No CUDA with Quadro P4000 on Resolve 17 upgrade

PostWed May 12, 2021 9:24 pm

Upgraded to resolve 17. Got notice no CUDA support for Cuda 11 must run in OPEN GL.

Any ideas? Quadro P4000 supports 6.1 compute capabilities. Am I missing something. Only reason I upgraded was the new file from 7.3 camera update with GEN 5 color would not open in resolve 16.

Solved with Nvidia Driver 462.59. aAlso loaded Resolve 17.2

Was hesitant to load it since machine runs Media Composer 2021 as well and that driver is not in the blessed list. Opened a few projects in Avid and seemed ok so far. Fingers crossed because I love shooting with BRAW.

Is the driver for the P4000 up to date? Have you tried setting CUDA manually?

Thanks for the response. It is now and works. With driver 441.63 resolve would only give Open CL option.
Changing a GPU driver with so many different programs gets risky sometimes

cheers.
