supersize files crashing Macbook Pro

Just downloaded latest version of DR Pro. and have 3, 4K prores files to which I've added supersize X4. When I select one of the files to drag onto timeline I'm crashing. If I select one of the files I crash.

My intent was to use the MBP to export the files and take them back into my main editing computer. Am I asking the MBP to do something it's not capable of, or is there another issue.

2 TB Sandisk extreme SSD

That GPU is not capable enough.
If you need that much upscaling, try Video Enhancer AI. But it's going to be very slow on that hardware.
