Instability in V17

I am having technical trouble with a video in two places. I hope I'm posting in the right place.
Randomly (or so it seems) I am not able to playback the video from the Edit screen... and that is only resolved by quitting and restarting.
I am also having trouble rendering the final video... it starts ok, then mdway through will stop rendering. There doesnt seem to be a consistent point it happens. Restarting the app doesnt help with this... I have had to uninstall/reinstall Resolve then hard-reboot my PC.
This has only happened in the last couple of weeks.
Ideas?
