Media Created Date on Windows

I know this is a bit of a Windows issue but when copying files into a Windows system (say via ftp), the date created and date modified are set to be the date when the file was trasfered, not the date when the media was created. That is actually stored in the media created attribute. However, that attribute is not available in the Media Pool for DaVinci Resolve. My current fix is to use the exiftool to update the meta-data for each one of my files but that's a bit cumbersome.
Could DVR include the ability to sort by Media Created attribute?
