Hello,
first things first! 17.2 is awesome and .mkv support is a great feature.
However, i noticed many sound issues within Edit and Fairlight while using .mkv files. Most of the time it's stuttering, the sound is bouncing between the left and right channel, left or right channel is quieter than the other (even on my mono microphone track), or the sound will not play at all.
It feels like a cache / render problem of some kind, since i can move the playhead back and it will eventually work fine. Sometimes everything sounds right the second try, sometimes it takes more tries.
I deleted my render cache (all) and changed between render cache none and smart without a difference.
After that i remuxed the same .mkv into .mp4 (like before 17.2) and everything is fine again
I'am out of ideas if its a hardware / driver issue or within 17.2.
