Support for custom naming for individual timeline clips ?

I've noticed this on What's New list (• Support for custom naming for individual timeline clips.), and I'm wondering how to do it actually ? I'd love to be able to name clips on my timeline independently from each other. So even If I'm using same clip from media pool twice, in different way, I'd like to be able to name then let's say SH0010_L1 and SH0010_L2.
