Waveform only visible when 100% zoomed in

Hi, I'm new to DaVinci resolve.
Whenever I try to edit something, the audio waveform only shows for the first second or so of the file, then nothing is shown. In order to see the full waveform, I have to zoom in to 100%, making the track move so fast that I can't tell where I am in the video. Does anyone here know how to fix this?

assuming you are on v17.2, what is the track height set to?

Yes, I downloaded the newest release earlier that day. The issue is present regardless of the track height. I adjusted it a lot, and even set it to the max it could be.
Also, I played around with some other video files I have, and this seems to only be an issue for mvk files. When I import an mp4, the waveform shows up just fine.

Thats valuable additional info, can u post a sample clip and a photo of the UI that shows it

I couldn't upload the video because it was too large, so I uploaded it to Imgur instead. I also put the image there too. The waveform only appears in a few places, but there is audio for pretty much the entire clip.
