Simple GUI Question

PostMon May 17, 2021 12:15 pm

I'm almost embarrassed to ask but when I zoom into the viewer on the color page I don't seem to be able do move the image to an area that isn't just the middle of the shot which doesn't make this very useful when I'm attempting to zoom into an area on the edge of the picture. I'm using an Apple Magic Mouse and have tried all the usual tricks such as holding CMD, Shift, Control down while dragging to no avail.

Is there something I'm missing or a keyboard customization I need to make?

You normally click the middle mouse button to do this, but pretty sure magic mouse doesn't have one. I assume there is some key modifier you can use to simulate it, but I don't have macs so can't help any further

Well, I tried again using the Command key and it worked. I must not have had the right tool selected or something else was afoot when I tried. Thanks for the help.

But I'd suggest to get a three-button mouse instead, it's easier with DR.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

Vertical mice are easy on the wrist for long sessions.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
