Clean feed accuracy

Hello!
While i have found a lot of information "around" the subject, the exact answer to my question has been missing from my research, so maybe someone here can help...
Firstly, my goals are not "Netflix-approved" levels of precision, but still being able to make accurate enough decisions for client work, 90+% of which will most likely be online delivery. I'll be buying either LG CX or Sony A8H for "hero" display purposes and this desicion has become almost impossible, the reason being - picture quality vs 3D LUT capability.
From everything I know, the Sony has a better picture, as well as more features, better build quality, etc. But the LG has built in LUT. I know, that LUTs can be added in Resolve, but some argue, that it is not the best way. I also know, that CX is widely accepted for these purposes, but for SDR the Sony has better specifications from my research.
At the moment it will be Gtx1070 output, since there are no more PCIe lanes free on my workstation for Decklink and i definately won't be adding external video out alternatives. In some time i'll be upgrading the PC and at that point Mini Monitor 4K is on the list, but even then my budget won't reach external LUT box for hundreds of €, begging the question of image pipeline with Sony, if the decklink output is directly going info TV, limiting the calibration to menu controls...
So it all boils down to the question - which screen and which calibration method combined will give better results? Either LG CX with internal 3D LUT calibration or Sony A8H with a LUT added in Resolve clean feed?
