Hi, I wanted to know what video formats does Davinci Resolve Studio 17 import? Since in my case I can only upload .Mp4 files. In the media folder I don't see any other video files with different extensions like .TS, MPEG2, etc. I only see mp4, is it a bug in the program that I find hard to believe or is there something else to do? Thanks for your attention.
Yeah, don't waste Jim's time and simply go away. Even though your codecs are listed as supported.
TS is supported with different file extension (rename) for the rest remux to mov or mkv using ffmpeg or mkvtoolnix.
Kinda funny also that the same people advocating the transcode-to-a-proper-editing-codec-before-even-posting mantra now send people to "customer editors".
Luckly the biggest consumer container of all times (mkv) was just added to the professional only Resolve NLE.

You may need to change the container. That's something like zip or rar or 7z for files. The content inside is supported. This process of changing the container is called remuxing and an easy is mkvtoolnix. Just drag the original file in and export as mkv.
