M1 Mac Mini not seeing VST plugins

PostTue May 18, 2021 4:34 pm

Hi everyone,
First post here. Maybe this has been answered and I'm just not seeing it. But my M1 Mac Mini is not seeing most of my VST plugins. The plugins all appear in Reaper and Garageband, however only 2 appear in Resolve when I go into Fairlight and try to add a plugin to the main bus. Several of them say the AU version is there, but when I click those, no UI opens and no audio changes.
In Davinci's preferences I see the /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST path is set and when I go to that folder in Finder, I see all the VST's in there. But for some reason Resolve seems to think they are not there.

I'm on the latest MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1 and Davinci V 17.2. I've checked and made sure I have all the latest version of my VST's as well. It appears to only be Davinci not seeing them.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Tim B.
