[SpeedEditor] Stop/Play button stops responding

PostTue May 18, 2021 10:21 pm

After some time from starting DR, the Stop/Play button on Speed Editor stops responding properly. Pressing it either does nothing, or advances the video by a single frame. Space bar on the keyboard still stops and starts playback, jog wheel works, all other keys on the console work.
Restarting DR fixes the issue, so it does not look like a hardware problem.

I'm using Resolve Studio 17.2 on Linux.

Can someone from BMD, please, comment on this? The problem appeared after upgrade to Studio 17.2 and upgrade of firmware on SpeedEditor to 1.3

Looking around the forum and in my own experience, it seems that the updated driver is really buggy. I am experiencing the same and dropped connections and resolve stutter/lag, so much that I've put my speed editor away until the bugs are ironed out.

I like my SE. It's not perfect, but most of the time it works ok. Until the recent update I did not encounter any problems, which would make it difficult to use. I don't use BT link, USB works reliably.
