McDSP SA2 Dialogue Processor with Fairlight 17.2?

This very for useful for dialogue post-prodution plug-in is VST 3. Accordingly, while it works in Fairlight, it's functionality in Fairlight is limited in that it does not show the McDSP SA2 Dialogue Processor presets at all. (I am running Resolve Studio 17.2 on a late 2019 MacBook Pro and Catalina 10.15.7 and the latest McDSP SA2 Dialogue Processor version 6.7.1)
McDSP kindly has made available on its FAQ page sets of VST2 presets for its plugins, from which I added the SA2 VST2 presets into the SA2 folder within my applications folder. When that did not work, and based on the McDSP tech desk suggestion that I might want to try to try putting the SA2 VST2 presets anywhere else where Resolve might scan for them at program start-up, I also added the SA2 VST2 presets into my library/audio/presets folder. When that did not work, I then also put a copy in my user/[name]/documents folder (which is where my Izotope presets appear to reside).
In short, frustrating not to be able to make this excellent McDSP plugin work fully in Fairlight. It would be outstanding if VST3 could be embraced and added into Fairlight by BMD ASAP, of course, but if anyone has figured out how to make McDSP's SA2 Dialogue Processor (or other McDSP VST3 plugins) work in Fairlight, with the presets functions working, kindly share any insight you may have. Thank you.

Same issue here. We tried and failed to get SA2 to work in Fairlight.
IF BM wants Resolve / Fairlight to be a standard tool for audio, then we need to be able to use it with the other tools required of us.

If on macOS install the AU version of the SA2 plugin since mcDSP has deprecated their VST2 version with the latest installer.
Concerning Presets, mcDSP does not use an internal preset library like most plugins and instead relies on the host to provide preset functionality (which not all do). Not a new issue.

THIS! I just purchased the McDSP Dialog Processor as it is used by a colleague at a big Burbank post house for TV and Film and I can't even find it on Davinci Fairlight. What gives?

This is what I see after doing all of the Audio Folder Preferences and restarts. I select it and nothing happens.

I've been using SA2 Dialogue Processor successfully for about a year and currently on 17.2.1. Presets don't work but not a deal breaker. I did notice after first install I had to restart Resolve several times before it was visible and working. First restart is was only visible in the edit page and couldn't apply it, second reboot it was visible in Fairlight but I couldn't use it, and third reboot it let me load and activate the plugin though this was under 16.2... It's been a while but I remember there was something weird with activating. I think I had to update or reinstall the ilock software. I'm currently using a cloud activation but you can also use a dongle.

That is promising Jeremy and thank you for replying and the screenshot. I'll restart again and see if I have any success.

No problem. I tried installing it on another computer to see if I had a problem. As soon as you start Resolve, on the project manager page before loading a project the McDSP activation window should pop up. I remembered from the previous install that if you don't see this activation popup I could never get the app to load afterwards. Not sure how your activating the plugin Cloud or Dongle. I would make sure that your iLok manager is running and is signed into your account. Also make sure the plugin is registered to your iLok account before trying to start Resolve.

I got it to work! No Presets like you said but after playing Russian Roulette with the Audio VST plugin preferences after the 11th restart it appeared! Thank you brother!
