Window Resizing Bug

PostSun May 23, 2021 10:53 pm

I'm on a Windows 10 system. I have encountered a bug where my media pool and effects library will not stay to the size I scale them at and reset every time I open the inspector or the mixer. I normally shrink it as small as it will go but what is really interesting is when I make it as large as it will go and open the mixer or whatever it pops over past max size.
I have tried deleting my settings files I have tried a reinstall without and uninstall and nothing is fixing it. I really don't want to uninstall because it's like a whole thing to get everything back the way I like it and all my settings back.
Any help would be much appreciated.
For those not sure what I am talking about here. Put the mouse on this line and move it.

What's your screen resolution?

What is Display Scaling set to?
My Biases:

1920 x 1080
Not sure what you mean by "Display Scaling". Do you mean in DR or windows? Everything in windows is 1080.

So it looks like this bug is only in 17.2. I installed 17.1 and the issue went away. As soon as I install 17.2 it comes back.

I've found Resolve's GUI at 1080 to be...less than ideal.

I recommend using a 24" 1440 monitor at a minimum for a comfortable experience.

I was referring to Windows Display Scaling. Make sure it's only ever set to 100%.

Yup, it is at 100%. Pretty sure this is just a 17.2 bug seeing as how I installed 17.1 and it went away. Reinstalled 17.2 and as long as I do not scale those windows the bug does not happen.
