Are you saying Resolve 17.3.1 works OK on the M1 Mac, but it's not working on your Dell laptop?

And are you saying that 17.1 works on the Dell laptop, but 17.3.1 doesn't?

Looking back at your prior Dell laptop NFO, I see you are running Hyper-V. It doesn't look like I asked you about that previously. Hyper-V often causes Resolve issues. If you still have that running, if you turn it off, does that allow Resolve 17.3.1 to launch?
I did disable it (Hyper-V), restarted, installed 17.3.1, no luck.
I will revert once again to 17.1.1
When it starts, it freezes upon "Loading Fairlight Engine"
It is obviously something about the Fairlight Engine onwards from ver 17.2.2 onward on Dell Laptop (mine at least).
