I have been recording desktop audio with OBS Studio (mostly film clips) and have noticed that when I play back the clips in Resolve, the audio sounds "harsher" (i.e., louder, the s sounds are higher pitched, etc.). I'm wondering if there is a difference between compressing or otherwise modifying the audio in Resolve after I have recorded it with OBS, or if it is better to set a filter on OBS for when it records desktop audio. My concern is that if OBS is recording audio that already peaks or clips to 0 db, it would present a problem editing or normalizing it in Resolve afterward.
Thank you!
