Hi,
Unfortunately, I am in the middle of a large project (2 hrs. documentary) and I decided to try the new Mac Mini M1 with the Silicon Chip.
Please, I need your help to know (detailed as possible) how do I transfer my project from my windows pc to my Mac Mini using the AData SE770G external SSD and not through ethernet. I am familiar with DR project archives to be shared between Windows PCs. but not the above scenario.

Also, I noticed that after updating my Mini Mac with the latest OS. Big Sur 11.4 and while downloading the latest supported Davinci Resolve Studio version, the system asked for downloading the Rosetta app. first and I understand it should operate natively since it supports the M1 Silicon.

After the download has been successful, Davinci Resolve asked for the update to version 17.2 too, while version 17.2 does not mention in its description that it supports the M1 Mac! Somehow confusing. Am I missing something?
Thank you so much.

The Archive is the way to go.

You could use a SSD formatted to exFAT, but don't try to put your database on that, only the archive.
Might be better, though, to use one of the Paragon softwares to either use HFS+ on the PC or NTFS on the Mac.
If it's strictly one way, MacOS on its own can read NTFS, but not write.

And, yes, DR 17.2 should run natively on M1, I have no idea why it's asking for Rosetta. The version for MacOS is universal, i.e. in runs natively both on Intel and Apple silicon.
