Hi All,
I have created 1920x1080 Cineform files using Neoscene. These play and scrub very smoothly on my system using Resolve except that they have an extreme jitter like they were shot during an earthquake. (It is not my camerawork on this occasion).
The files will play back without issue from the timeline on other NLEs on my system. Resolve will also render them out perfectly without this effect. I have been using Resolve 17s new "remove pulldown" feature but I need to use the Cineform files as well. Has anyone else experienced this or can someone suggest a possible fix? Thanks in advance!

From your description it sounds like a field dominance issue.
Resolve will usually automatically select the correct field dominance for interlaced media based on codec, but as these are intermediates that you've created with Neoscene then, if incorrectly interpreted dominance is the issue, you can override the Auto setting in the Clip Attributes window.

Thank you for your rapid response. I think you are correct that it is an interpretation issue. However, the file is progressive after pulldown is removed using Neoscene. This is confirmed by MediaInfo and the other NLEs. Resolve seems to think this is the case as well as it offers no field dominance options. If I optimize or proxy the file in Resolve the same issue persists. I would love for these Cineform files to work as the performance is impressive but the jitter makes it unusable.

It's possible to have interlaced footage in a progressive 'container'. In this case you can not change the field order. Take a look in Resolve and zoom in a lot on the viewer to see if any interlacing is visible. If so, then the Neoscene output has been progressive whilst the source was interlaced. If you can post a link to a downloadable Neoscene clip, I can take a look and advise you. I have been working with interlaced and film material since analog days!

I tried running my files through Neoscene once again, this time using the "I-frames only" option and the highest quality. These files played perfectly in Resolve. I believe there was something with Neoscene's delta encoding that Resolve couldn't interpret properly. Thank you both for your assistance.
