Licence Key Activation - need account cleared please

Hello DR Team
I've tried a few different installations since I got Resolve Studio a few months ago. I've had a few OS issues and haven't been able to uninstall. It looks like I need my licence keys cleared out?
I believe you can see my details. Please PM me or email me at steve@ballaratbusines.media if you need clarification or my assumption is wrong.
Also, I would like to understand why some people are saying to try a hotspot or VPN for activation when there's a problem. Also why New Magic Australia say the activation may not work on some OS (despite no firewall). I'm an ex-techie; used to do IDL interface specs to glue dynamic DB2 databases to middleware attachments for IBM. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a person has successfully registered in recent times, and it's a packet of information in a protocol across a transport mechanism, then the OS the user has managed to install on is irrelevant? I mean, the program runs, it's trying to connect, it's a standard interaction governed by the DR software. It shouldn't matter if it's Windowws, Mac, CENTOS, Ubuntu, Manjaro... (I registered and used under Manjaro, but the rolling release caused an NVIDIA problem, so I've changed to KDE Neon which is based on Ubuntu LTS). Have ISPs been so tiresome that they have really blocked the DR activation server? It sounds really odd to me.
I know it's difficult for support people once the problem goes beyond their capability, and the Aussie guy I talked to said "don't know". That's fair enough. Could BMM maybe put a little more info in the licence activation panel to state the licences are all used up or there's a technical error please?
Thanks for the support guys
