Text+ single frames black screen

No idea why or what's caused it but recently text+ is being pretty buggy, it was working fine up until today for me

Either the first frame or the last frame will create a black screen instead of actually showing the text and the layers beneath

Anyone know what could be causing this? I've seen other posts mentioning it as well in the past

Done, text is really messed up for me, if I increase size on any text then it disappears as well, no idea what's happening here this update has screwed me

Same here. I've being using a particular style with the way my text comes on to the screen for a long time now using Text+ with no problems at all but like yourself, 17.2.1 now gives me a black screen on the penultimate frame of the Text+ I have to deliver a project today as well so now I have no option other that to replace the text+ with normal text and have it fade on/off.....

Anyone from Davinci able to chime in with this one? It's still going on and it's happening on a variety of machines I use Davinci on for work and also to the guy above so it's not an issue with the hardware

Having to compound everything and stretch it out to make sure the first and last frame of the text isn't on the main timeline is just a pain to do every single time

Just like before, a single black frame is happening either at the start or end of text+

Could you bundle up a small Archive that shows the issue?

Hi ya'll,

I'm still experiencing this issue in 18.1, and it's really persistent, i've been able to work around it in the past by changing some aspects of it, but now it's not going away no matter what I do (unless I stretch, compound, then remove the final frame).

If there's any way to get the attention of somebody at blackmagic that'd be awesome.
