DaVinci Effects always showing up as 'Media Offline'

Hi all, this has been an ongoing problem for me for some time. Almost universally, when I put any type of effect in the timeline, whether in fusion or something as simple as a 'Basic Title' from the effects library, the visuals show up as 'Media Offline' throughout the duration of the effect element. If I change ONE thing about the effect, suddenly it's back online. For instance for a basic title, if I add a letter it then shows up and plays through just fine. But only ONCE. If I try and play it twice it immediately becomes "Media Offlline" again and the only way to view it is to again change one element (add a letter, increase the size, change the colour, any change seems to work). It's very frustrating as the only way I've been able to play through a project is to go through every single title, add and then delete a letter in each one, and then watch it. If I want to watch it again, I have to repeat the whole process.

When I render it it comes out perfectly, and all the titles load every time I restart the program. But it's a nightmare trying to playback content and review anything effects based since as soon as I've watched it once they all immediately go offline.

Any and all advice very welcome!

That is definitely not normal.

Post up your system specs, including GPU driver.

Hi Jim, thanks for getting back to me.

The GPU driver may be the problem. I'm using Studio driver 462.59 with my GTX 1060. This is shown as the latest Studio driver on the Nvidia website. Try doing a clean install of that driver to see if it makes a difference.
It could also be a problem with your source material. What is it's source, codec, and framerate?
