CR2 files not woking on 17.2.1 on Mac M1

I'm trying to import a time-lapse sequence shot on my Canon 80D in .CR2 format.

So the problem I'm having is I get "Offline Media" when trying to view them or import them, even if I select "Show Individual Frames". If I select "Reveal In Finder" the images are all there.

This is the first time trying to import .CR2 so I can't say if it's related to this version of DR or not.

Please provide a link to a sample file.

Are you using the free or Studio version of 17.2.1?

I'm trying the free version to color grade some stop-motion animation. But have an issue with cr2 files not being recognized as an image format by fusion.

In resolve, the format was recognized but wouldn't gather as a sequence.
So what to do - please advice

What do you mean by "not gather a sequence"? Are they numbered sequentially?
If so, you may have inadvertently left this on (Media Page, Storage area, three dots):

And, yes, please post a sample we can download from a cloud service.

That might have been it. Now it works in resolve. And as MediaIn in Fusion. But the I/O Loader in Fusion doesn't list cr2 as image files, you have to set it to "see all files" in the browser, just to see them. The gather sequence is shown nicely for the jpeg proxies, but the cr2 are shown as individual frames in the browser. But when selected the cr2's are shown in the file loader as A.####.cr2 but turns red in node three.

But thanks for you pointing out the three dots - At least now I know I can load the material, and color grade it.

The stop motion that I'm recording is shot in different time-space, some frames are exposed in two's others in one's and some are again held for several frames. I was planning to export these raw files with an image file list .ifl. I know that Fusion used to be able to handle this, but I can't seem to find it here. It could save a lot of space.
