I just downloaded the new Davinci Resolve Studio to my 27 inch IMAC and the MXF files are lagging. Audio is cutting in and out and sometimes the video freezes. The computer is a brand new 10 Core i9 and has 64 GB of DDR4 and an AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB DDR6 GFX Card. Premiere Pro is running the files perfectly but Davinci is struggling hard. I've tried setting it up as both Open CL and Metal but both are bad. I know you can make proxies but I shouldn't need to do that to simply play a clip with no effects on it. Lowering the playback resolution isn't helping either.
