Slow tracking on linux after 17.x upgrade.

Is it just me or the tracker 3D performance is really worst in v17.x than 16.x? I have a generous machine (Linux CentOs 7 with 4x2080ti cards) and I went to track almost realtime in v16 to 2-3 frames per second in v17.x (currently on 17.2.0.011).
That make the tracker almost unusable because of the time it takes to analyze.
Also there is a bug:
track clip 1
Cntrl+C
Alt+v on a new clip [parameters only]
Bug: you cannot reposition the shape until you physically [clear all tracking points] in the tracker EVEN IF there is no tracking data.
This was working fine for years.
