Timeline interfering with color.

Im sure there is a simple solution to this as Im a newbie with Resolve.

So I did scene detection for my 1st out of 4 reels of edits. The scene detection went well and I proceeded to color my scenes.

On the 2nd reel, after scene detection was performed and I checked the edits in the edit tab. All was good, however for some reason when I go to color, 2 timelines are created with handles. It's thrown me for a loop and I can't figure out how to turn this off as it interferes with my color.

Please do let me know what needs to be done so I can continue the word unimpeded.

Thanks

The only thing I can think of is View/Show Current Clip With Handles, but that can only be activated in the Color page so I don't know why you are seeing it like this in the Cut page.

I'm also confused by the image of the CUT page.

@TOM

So I believe what you were saying about the handles being activated in color may have been the culprit. Im not totally sure, but when I closed the program and re-opened it the next day, the issue was not there anymore, so maybe what ever I had inadvertently activated was reset.

Thank you for your reply.

Stay safe.
