How to zoom and move around in view window?

I'm often trying to make precise roto shapes with power windows in Resolve's color tab.

When I'm zoomed way in, I can't see the edges of the image frame. So my initial question was, how do I move the view window around?

I found this video with some answers:

Here's what it says:

1) Zoom use the scroll wheel.
2) Move up/down with CTRL + Scroll wheel
3) Move left/right with ALT + Scroll wheel


So (1) and (2) work for me, but (3) does not. I'm on PC, using Alt (not Option) but when I hold down Alt and scroll, nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Thanks. So obvious, yet I never use that mouse button in any other program.

Reminds me of playing XBOX. I was stuck for days on a mission in GTA where I had to honk the horn. Took me that long to figure out I could click the joystick, not just move it.

I use a mac and trackpad: I have no option to move left and right. ALT + SCROLL has no effect.
Any idea?

Get a three button mouse. Seriously. I rarely touch the trackpad when working in DR.

On a PC
CTRL + Wheel scroll for the top and down
CTRL + Shift + Wheel for the left and right.

Same here, I got it to work when I SHIFT + COMMAND + SCROLL then I was able to go left and right. Also the scroll has to be kind of aggressive. I can't get it to scroll if I'm light with the touch.
