Uninstall serial # activated version from older system

So, I have an older system that needs to get flushed that has a serial number activated version of Studio 16.xx. I am going to recycle that system for another purpose and want to know the best procedure to be able to use that serial # on a new install with newer hardware that can support the current version. I saw on another post that BMD keeps track of serial number activations (mine has been used only once) and just want to make sure it will work on the new install.

The best way is to run Resolve, open a new project, then Select the Resolve Help menu: Deactivate License.
