Trouble with Resolve 17.2.1 + Decklink Mini Monitor 4K

PostThu Jun 10, 2021 11:23 pm

After a long wait and a stable system running Davinci 16, I finally decided to upgrade to Davinci 17 today as it is no longer Beta and it has a few updates already.
I have downloaded and installed Davinci Resolve 17.2.1 and upgraded all 4 machines in my facility.
3 machines are working just fine, but on the machine with a Decklink Mini Monitor 4K Pci card. Davinci keeps crashing everytime I try and load any media at all on the viewer. After a few tests I was able to relate this crashing with the decklink card. When I change the output card to None in the preferences, I am able to use davinci normally. But with the decklink set as my output card the problems repeat itself over and over again.
Nothing shows on the viewer and Davinci crashes.
I have already tried to update Desktop Video (I was in 11.6) to the latest version (12.1) but same thing happens.
I am on Catalina 10.15.7
Can anyone at Blackmagic give me some light?

Hey. I have issues too. Other Apps crash when they try to access the PCIe card. Did you ever solve your problem?

Yes. Try other driver versions. Even on MacOS. Driver must match hardware and OS version (Decklink 4K Extreme on 10.15.7. works with Desktop Video 11.6 only in my case).
